Level select:
Hold Down/Left + A + B + C on controller two at the Sega logo. Release the buttons at the next screen. Start a new game and the level selection menu will appear.

Expert mode:
Select original mode. Hold A + B + C and press Start. Opponents will be smarter and faster.
