Romance of the Three Kingdoms III: Dragon of Destiny is the third in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series of turn-based strategy games produced by Koei and based on the historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. This version was released in Asia and North America for the PC, Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Mega Drive/Genesis.

Growl, known in Japan as Runark (ルナーク Runāku?), is a belt-scrolling beat-'em-up originally released for the arcades by Taito in 1990. Set in the early 20th century, the player controls a forest ranger who must protect the local wildlife from a group of evil poachers who are driving the animals to extinction. A home version was released for the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) on November 1991. It was also included in the arcade game compilation Taito Legends 2 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Microsoft Windows.

Shining in the Darkness, released as Shining and the Darkness (シャイニング&ザ・ダクネス?) in Japan, is a 1991 role-playing video game for the Mega Drive/Genesis video game console. It was one of the first RPGs released for the system, and began the long-running and multi-genre Shining series.

688 Attack Sub is a submarine simulator game designed by John W. Ratcliff & Paul Grace, published in 1989 for DOS systems and 1990 for Amiga computers by Electronic Arts. A Sega Mega Drive version was also published. The player takes command of a US Los Angeles-class or Soviet Alfa class nuclear powered attack submarine and plays 10 missions ranging from into either Cold War scenarios or combat missions in a hypothetical global conflict. As modeled in the game, the American submarine has more sophisticated electronics and more weapons. The Soviet boat has fewer weapons but higher sustained speeds. 688 Attack Sub is known as an early classic of the genre. John W. Ratcliff followed it up by SSN-21 Seawolf later. This was one of the earliest games that allowed two players to play against each other over a modem (or null modem cable).
