WWF Royal Rumble is a professional wrestling video game released by LJN in 1993 for the Super NES and Sega Genesis. Like its predecessor, WWF Super WrestleMania it is based on the World Wrestling Federation. It features a variety of match types, including the newly added Royal Rumble match. The game's roster consists of wrestlers who were top stars in the WWF at the time, and each version of the game has five exclusive playable characters. The game boasts several new features, including an on-screen meter grappling meter and steel chairs that can be used as weapons. Royal Rumble also adds a variety of new moves, including illegal tactics such as choking and each wrestler's signature finishing moves. The game was followed up with the Sega Mega-CD release WWF Rage in the Cage and a direct sequel, WWF Raw.

WWF Super WrestleMania is a multiplatform wrestling video game based on the World Wrestling Federation, released in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis. Two other 16-bit WWF games, WWF Royal Rumble and WWF Raw, were released which retained the "tug-of-war" style grappling system, where moves are performed by locking up and out-tapping the other player or the computer to execute a move.

Ys III: Wanderers from Ys (イースIII – ワンダラーズフロムイース Īsu Surī – Wandarāzu Furomu Īsu?) is an action role-playing game developed by Nihon Falcom Corporation. It is the third game in the Ys series. Ys III was initially released for the NEC PC-8801 and NEC PC-9801 in 1989, and versions for the MSX2 and Sharp X68000 soon followed. In 1991, a number of console ports were produced: versions for the TurboGrafx-CD, Famicom, Super NES, and Sega Genesis. A port for the PlayStation 2 was released by Taito Corporation in 2005. The TurboGrafx-CD, Super NES, and Genesis ports, as well as the PSP and Steam remakes, Ys: The Oath in Felghana, have received official English-translated releases. In addition, the Famicom and MSX2 ports have been fan-translated.

Zany Golf, also known as Will Harvey's Zany Golf, is a video game with a fantasy take on miniature golf, developed by Sandcastle Productions and published by Electronic Arts. The game was originally developed in 1988 for the Apple IIGS and became the first Apple IIGS game to attract the mainstream gaming market and be ported to other platforms.[citation needed] It was subsequently ported to the Amiga, Atari ST and DOS machines. In 1990 it was ported to a video game console, the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. The game is played in a 3D isometric viewpoint and allows up to 4 players. The game was developed by Will Harvey, Ian Gooding, Jim Nitchals, and Douglas Fulton. This game was developed while Harvey was pursuing his advanced degrees at Stanford University. Zany Golf is a version of mini golf with some features that are impossible in real, physical mini golf. Zany Golf only consists of half a golf course, i.e. 9 holes, although there is a bonus hole.
