Sonic: South Island Warped is a currently in progress hack of Sonic the Hedgehog. It's main point of interest is the return of the time travel mechanic from Sonic CD, along with a few other new features added to set it apart from the original Sonic 1. Zones are split into four acts each; three main acts and and a boss act at the end. Sonic is capable of traveling to the past or the future of the zone he's currently in via the signposts hidden in each of the levels. Each act, sans act four, has a robot generator that, when destroyed in the past, will remove all badniks for the rest of the act and also create a good future for that act. Destroying all three generators for a zone will remove Eggman's influence in the fourth act, which always takes place in the future.Time Stones also return, collectible alongside the Chaos Emeralds. One Time Stone will be hidden in each zone, and it will only be obtainable within the future of that zone. If attempting to retrieve the Time Stone in the bad future, Sonic will have to face off with one of Eggman's machines. If in the good future, the Time Stone will be unguarded and ready to be collected. The fourth act of a zone contains no generators, Time Stones, or signposts, only a boss fight against either Eggman or Metal Sonic. The Chaos Emeralds will be obtained during these boss fights, usually right after the boss is defeated, but you may also be able to reach it before the boss does, preventing it from making the fight more difficult.As of now, this is just a demo of GHZ, which even on it's own is still in need of much work. Honestly there's a lot I couldn't get around to doing just yet, but I still wanted to give everyone a sample of what I'm making. More than anything, I just hope you all enjoy what you play. Everything in this is release was done by me with the exception of the sound driver and the one original song port done for this hack. Both of those were by Varion Icaria who I can't thank enough for helping out. Sonic's Fun and Easy Adventure is a hack by Novedicus. It's based off of an optimized version of the Sonic 3 & Knuckles engine and is made to be played on the Sega Mega Drive.This project was created and released for the Hacking Expo of SHC 2017. The hack has many objects and elements ported over from Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog CD, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 that were considered to be the most frustrating parts of those respected games and was made to resemble Sonic CD for aesthetic reasons.This hack also uses a technique similar to Sonic 3D Blast's FMV process to create a completely custom Sega Screen. Something not seen in many Sonic ROM hacks.

soniNeko is a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit) for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis by nineko. It is notable because of its extended playlist, which not only completely replaces all the songs from the original game, but also introduces several new songs, bringing the grand total to 71 (instead of 22 as in the original Sonic 1); most of those songs are conversions from MIDI and MOD files (as a demonstration of xm2smps/xm3smps capabilities), and a small amount of them are conversions from games that use the Cube/Iwadare sound engine. None of those songs have been converted from other games that use the SMPS sound system, something soniNeko is still unique for.

Speedy Gonzales (commonly shortened to just Speedy) is an animated caricature of a mouse in the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. He is portrayed as "The Fastest Mouse in all Mexico" with his major traits being the ability to run extremely fast and speaking with an exaggerated Mexican accent. He usually wears an oversized yellow sombrero, white shirt and trousers (which is a common traditional outfit worn by men and boys of rural Mexican villages), and a red kerchief, similar to that of some traditional Mexican attires. To date there have been 46 cartoons made either starring or featuring this character.

Star Control is a science fiction video game developed by Toys for Bob and published by Accolade in 1990. It was originally released for Amiga and MS-DOS in 1990, followed by a Mega Drive/Genesis port in 1991. Simple ported versions were also released for the Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum. A sequel was released in 1992.

Star Trek: The Next Generation: Future's Past (Star Trek: The Next Generation: Echoes from the Past on Sega) is a 1994 adventure game featuring strategy and puzzle-solving elements. The game was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, the Sega Genesis and the Sega Game Gear. It takes place in the Star Trek universe, spanning Federation space and the Romulan Neutral Zone, and centers around the appearance of the IFD (Integrated Field Derandomizer), an artifact machine of unknown origin that, as its name suggests, allows its user to reshape matter and energy. It culminates in the IFD Trials, three tests undertaken by representatives of any races that are present when the Trials are held, and failure would mean the destruction of the Federation and the enslavement of countless worlds by the Federation's enemies. Both the Sega and Nintendo games feature largely identical gameplay, but with some key differences between versions.
